Server Maintenance FAQ (Fusion Enterprise)

From time to time, Fusion Enterprise will need to request users log out for routine server maintenance. This is part of the benefits of hosting with Fusion Enterprise and will ensure your system is always functioning at the highest level. 

IMPORTANT:  Any unsaved documentation or items could be permanently lost (removed, deleted) during maintenance. It is highly recommended that all users follow the best practices of saving often and always logging out at the end of every work day.

• Why do I have to be logged out during server maintenance?
  • Logging out before server maintenance begins allows users to make sure they have saved all their data and reduces risk of data loss.
    
    
• How often does Fusion Enterprise conduct server maintenance?
  • There is no set time frame for server maintenance.
    
    
• What happens if I am logged in or I have unsaved documentation or items when the server maintenance begins?
  • You will be kicked out of the system and any unsaved documentation or information could be lost.
    

    IMPORTANT: Unsaved data or documentation cannot be recovered and will be permanently lost.

• How will I be notified about upcoming server maintenance?
  • Fusion Enterprise will notify hosted clinics by emailing the clinic's owner or administrator. It is requested that, as an owner/admin, you pass along this information to your clinic users to ensure that no data is lost, or unsaved.
    
    
• Can I opt out of server maintenance?
  • No. Server maintenance is necessary for the health of your EMR.
