Because each computer may be set up differently depending on the version of Windows OS, screen size, and display settings; Users may need to make adjustments to their settings for optimal viewing.

For Overall Program Scaling:
On Windows 10 machines.
- Make sure they are fully updated to make use of the new scaling feature. Full scaling support became available in Windows 10 Version 1903+.
- To see the version, type winver in the Search/Cortana bar and Click Enter.
- Ensure the proper High DPI scaling handling was set for the V5 app when it was installed.

NOTE: For lower-resolution monitors, set your Windows magnification to 100%
High-Resolution Monitors
For monitors with high resolution but small screen size, some Users choose to lower the resolution (for example 1600x900 rather than 1920x1080). At higher resolutions, items appear sharper, but they also appear smaller (so more items can fit on the screen).
If this is insufficient, switch back to the older, legacy font and everything should fit as normal.
Legacy Font.
Follow these steps to set the Legacy Font:
- Go to File.
- Select Preferences.
- Check the box Use Legacy Font.
- Log out and back in to see that change. *This will reset your User Settings.
For Forms Viewing Only:
- Go to File.
- Select Preferences.
- Click Docs Form Scaling.
- Select a different setting (screenshot below).
- Each time Docs Form Scaling is changed, Users must close and reopen the form to see it with the new setting.
