Claim Error: Primary Policy has blank relationship
NOTE: This can happen when a policy has the Insured drop-down selected to point to an empty entity. (see the screenshot of how that would look in the case below)
FIX:
- Right-click on the claim error and then Open Case.
- Select Policies tab.
- Select the policy and right-click to Edit Policy.
NOTE: the first drop-down is called Insured. If selected incorrectly, this must be updated.
The insured party (Patient, Guarantor, Other Insured) should correspond to the tabs at the top.
If the selection in the drop-down does not match, the Relationship will be blank.
