Claim Error: Missing Provider NPI
This indicates that for this visit there is not a provider NPI entered. You will need to look at the exact level the claim is looking at in your Provider Table, as it is easy to look at the wrong level.
FIX:
- In Claim Generation, right-click on the error and select View Provider Info.
This should take you to the exact level the system is looking at. Whatever shows up on the right-hand side when that screen pulls up, is what is pulling onto the claim.
It could be that the first level with the Provider's name has all the info, but a level below, like Commercial, etc. is missing the info.
If so, you can right-click on the right-hand side and select Copy from Parent to bring all the info down a level.
