Permissions! Clinic Staff must have either Administrator, Front Office, or Operation Manager assigned in order to manage Case Binder.
Creating a Case Binder is an easy way to ensure that all case information for a given patient stays together. In this article, you will learn the steps necessary to take to set up a case binder for a patient.
Set up a Case Binder
- Search for the patient's case by going to Patient in the top menu and selecting Case from the drop-down menu

- Find the desired case and click on the column at the far left to highlight it. Then press Select.

- In the patient's case, click on the B to open the Binder at any time

- To Clone a Case, either from within the old case or from the Binder case list, right-click Clone Case.

- Be sure to uncheck cloning the diagnosis or referring doctors if they are different for this new case, also uncheck anything else you don’t want to clone (now this 2nd case will be in the same binder).

- From the new case, you can change the specific Service Type (Knee, Ankle, etc) so that you can tell the cases apart and so that you can be sure to schedule the correct cases as needed.
