The numbered buttons and the C, V, B, R buttons are shortcuts, allowing you to bypass the right-click menu. However, the mouse over the numbered button will display a message indicating to Right Click to set Keyboard Shortcut. Right-clicking produces the following menu:
Shortcuts
Assign Shortcut | Produces a dropdown list of all available choices fro assignment to that button. |
Clear Shortcut | Removes the assigned shortcut or that button. |
The button will turn from grey to green as they become useable. For instance, if you assign button 1 the Add Transaction shortcut, this button will only be green when a charge is selected; if a visit is selected, the button will remain grey. This mimics what would be seen on the right-click menu.
Likewise, the C, V, B, R buttons turn from grey to green when there is a note present.
