Permissions! Clinic Staff must have Administrator, Billing Manager, Billing Assistant, Front Office, or Operations Manager Permissions assigned in order to manage Transactions.

Introduction to Menu Options: Add Patient Refund
Patients can overpay for a number of reasons, and this dialog facilitates the refunding of that money. Selecting Add Patient Refund in the right-click menu will display the Add Refund dialog shown below.
Any amount up to the balance in Unapplied Patient Payments can be refunded to the patient.
For example, assume the patient has made three payments and there is $2.00 of unapplied money remaining in each of these payments. You could go to the refund module and make three refunds, one for each of the payments. The alternative is to use the Apply Patient Refund and enter $5.00 as the amount. Fusion Enterprise will automatically create three refunds and record them in the refunds table.
