Claim Generation - Introduction
Selecting Claim Generation from the main menu will display the Invoice Generation dialog. Here, charged visits can be billed via HCFA 1500, CMS 1500, ANSI X12 837, or Early Intervention Report (EI), and historical claims may be easily reviewed. A complete set of selection filters enables quick processing, and an error filter minimizes those claims that would be rejected due to avoidable errors. This works together to maximize efficiency and minimize the time taken to collect on a claim.
The Claim dialog is divided into two tabs: Current and Historical. The Current tab is used to generate and output new claims, while the Historical is used to pull previously sent claims.
The overarching idea is to generate claims, which will present you with a list of claims that are ready, filter this list down to the claims you are interested in, and then output them to their required format and medium (ie Paper, Electronic File, etc).
