Permissions! Clinic Staff must have Administrator, Billing Manager, Billing Assistant, or Operations Manager Permissions assigned in order to manage 835 Postings.

This series of introductory articles will cover the important aspects of managing 835 Postings with Fusion Enterprise.
Retrieving an 835 from the Database
Once a file has been loaded it will appear on the grid on the right half of the screen. If after you load the 835, however, you close the dialog and reopen it, it will not display. This is to prevent the system from loading all of the 835s from the entire database at one time and trying to display them to you.
When you are ready to work with the 835, you will use the Retrieval Filter section on the left.
By setting the various options we can pull 835 files from the database, view them and apply them, or simply pull them up for reference. The retrieval parameters are detailed below:
Date for which the 835 was posted.
Specify a specific payer ID and retrieve those 835s.
Specific Check / EFT
Enter the specific check or EFT number to retrieve just those 835s.
Unchecking this option will retrieve only those 835s that have not been fully applied or marked as such.
Once you have set the filters to reflect the 835s you wish to retrieve, press the Retrieve button, and they will appear in the grid on the right.
