Fusion Enterprise understands that the Front Office is a critical function of any practice. As such, we have ensured that you can run all of your practices front office needs through Fusion Enterprise and make it as easy as we can. This series of introductory articles will cover the important aspects of managing the Schedule with Fusion Enterprise.
The Schedule Display
The schedule can be configured in many different ways so that the schedule can be set to display in a manner that works best for you. How the schedule is displayed is defined by the Layout, how these are created will be covered in-depth in the next section.
There are two primary ways that the schedule may be displayed, horizontally or vertically.
In the horizontal orientation, the schedule is displayed like a timeline, with Therapists and Days down the left side and time across the top as shown below.
As you will see shortly this view works best for therapists that have appointments whose time overlaps.
The other orientation is the vertical view and is how most other schedule programs orient the schedule. This view works best for therapists that treat purely one on one.
With either view the elements of the schedule are all the same, we simply change the orientation from one view to the other.
NOTE: You can change the "Default" orientation to either Vertical or Horizontal under Administration > General Information > General --> Global Setting
