This series of introductory articles will cover the important aspects of managing the Schedule with Fusion Enterprise.
The Schedule Display: Overrides
An override is used to change the working hours of a therapist or resource. If for example, you want to change the work hour from Normal to Pool Therapy you could add in an override setting the work hours to Pool Therapy. Overrides show up on the schedule with a cross-hatch pattern as shown below:
Here you can see the working hours were changed to the purple Pool Therapy from 9 am until 10 am. We cross-hatch these so you can discern overrides from regularly planned schedules. When you create an override you can also add a note. This note will appear in the Information Panel at the top when you click on the override.
Overrides can also move a therapist from one clinic to another. For example, let's say Chris is going to run over to another clinic and cover for a therapist for the afternoon. Adding an override that moves the therapist to the other clinic will clear them from their current schedule and they will then appear on the other schedule.
When a therapist is scheduled to work at a different clinic than the one showing, either through the normal schedule or the Therapists & Resource Schedule dialog the therapist's working hours will show as a white hatch on the light blue background, as shown below:
Clicking on the white hash would show that the therapist is working at the Uptown clinic.
