The Menus: Patient Menu

Permissions! Clinic Staff must have Administrator, Billing Manager, Billing Assistant, Front Office, Front Office Assistant, Operations Manager, PTA, Staff Therapist, Therapy Student, or Therapy Technician Permissions assigned in order to manage Schedule.

Fusion Enterprise understands that the Front Office is a critical function of any practice. As such, we have ensured that you can run all of your practices front office needs through Fusion Enterprise and make it as easy as we can. This series of introductory articles will cover the important aspects of managing the Schedule with Fusion Enterprise.

Right-clicking on an appointment will include the patient’s name in the main popup menu. Selecting the patient’s name will open a submenu. The items in this menu can be reached in other ways, but, when selected under the patient sub-menu, they open without having to go through the Patient Select dialog. For example, if you selected the Visit Summary… under John Brothers, a visit summary will show for John Brothers. However; if you select the Patient Visit Summary on the main popup menu you would then be prompted with a Patient Select Dialog where you could enter Michael Smyth (or any other patient) and get the Visit Summary report for that patient.

Patient Sub-Menu

Check-in Patient	Toggles the selected appointment between Checked-In and not Checked-In. A checked-in visit can only be unchecked-in if charges have not been applied.
Invoice as No Show	Allows you to invoice a visit as a no-show from the schedule. This will add the no-show charge to the patient and move the invoice state for that visit to Bill Patient.
Copy Visit	Allows you to copy the visit or copy the visit and the resource visits. More on this in the next section.
Edit Visit	Opens a sub-menu for Editing the visit type and duration.
Move Visit	Allows you to move the visit to a different time and therapist; however, the visit cannot be moved to a different clinic.
Set Symbol	Allows you to set the Visit Symbol.
View Case…	Displays the Case Dialog for this patient.
Visit Summary…	Displays the Visit Summary Report for this patient.
Enter Payment…	Displays the Enter Payment dialog for the selected patient.
Print Calendar…	Prints a calendar for this patient. This calendar has all the appointments for the month of the selected visit. For example, if you select a visit that is in January then the calendar will show all appointments for January. More detail on this feature can be found in the General Information area of the manual.
Attachments…	Opens the attachments dialog.
Print Charge Sheet…	Allows you to print a charge sheet for just his patient.
Open Physiotec…	Opens a link to the Physiotec exercise program. Note that this is an external link to a 3rd party program and isn’t technically part of Fusion Enterprise.
Delete Visit…	Allows you to quickly delete the selected visit. Fusion Enterprise will prompt you as to the classification of the deletion (canceled visit or deleted visit).
