Fusion Enterprise understands that managing all of your cases is a critical function of any practice. We have ensured that you can run all of your practices front office needs through Fusion Enterprise and make it as easy as possible. This series of introductory articles will cover the essential aspects of managing the Patient Portal features with Fusion Enterprise.
Patient Portal: Lobby Mode
The portal was designed to allow patients to fill in their paperwork while they are in your office. This can be done from any web-enabled device such as an iPad, Android Tablet or Laptop. In the Binder – Patient Portal tab if you right-click and select Generate Lobby Password you will be presented with a password that may be used with the patient’s account number to log into the portal.
We envision the front desk logging the patient into the portal with their account number and password, navigating to the paperwork, and then handing the device to the patient. The Lobby password will only give the patient access to the paperwork portion of the portal. Please be aware that internet browsers do cache information and should be cleared; further discussion with your IT professional may be warranted.
