Adding Documentation from the Schedule
From the schedule, right-click the visit, navigate to the patient, and select Attachments. This will display the attachments dialog and list out any attachments that are currently associated with this patient.
Note that this dialog shows all attachments to the case, which may include more than just the therapist's documentation. In the above example, we also see that there is a scanned image of their driver’s license and insurance card as well as a Visit Note, which is for the visit on 2/23/2007.
Right-clicking the dialog presents the following menu:
The only options that apply to Therapist Documentation are the ones listed below:
Attachments Menu
Edit |
Allows you to edit the currently selected document. Note that documentation that has been signed will not be available for edit. |
Rollup |
Displays the rollup menu. |
Add Form |
Displays the add form menu. |

Prints the currently selected note. |
Delete |
Deletes the currently selected document. |
Selecting the Add Form option opens the menu up further to display:
Selecting New Form would allow you to pick a form from the form list and allow you to start filling in the document.
We will get into selecting forms and doing roll-ups later in the chapter. Right now, we are just getting an idea of where certain features may be accessed.
