Flow Forward
When you are in the attachment dialog, you will see a list of past notes. Any of these notes may be selected and Flowed Forward. To do this, select the form and then right-click and select Add Form | New Form Flow Forward from the right-click menu.
You will now be presented with a list of forms into which you can flow forward. While it is possible to flow forward from a form to any other type of form, you usually do not end up with the desired results when flowing forward into a different form. This flexibility does exist for those who wish to be creative and create a series of forms that flow from one to another. Choosing the New Form
Flow Forward to Same bypasses the Select Form dialog, saving one step if the same form is desired.
In the case of our elbow evaluation, we would select our initial elbow evaluation, select Add Form
| New Form Flow Forward from the right-click menu, and then choose Elbow Evaluation from the list. At this point, a new elbow evaluation form will be created with all of the data from our original. Everything is an exact copy of the initial form with the exception of the measurement controls. Any values that we placed in the measurement controls will move over to Prev R and Prev L of that measurement control.
This allows the initial evaluation to become a reevaluation or final evaluation with comparison values and the luxury of not having to retype the information that has not changed.
