Fusion Enterprise understands that managing all of your cases is a critical function of any practice. We have created Fusion Enterprise to not only be easy to use, but also allow any therapist to be able to sit down and with very little instruction be able to complete an evaluation or a daily note. We have designed the actual documentation to be as customizable as possible. This series of introductory articles will cover the essential aspects of the Flow Sheet in Fusion Enterprise.
Creating a Daily Note
Once you have your Flow Sheet set for the day it is time to create a daily note. You can preview the objective text portion of the note at the bottom of the screen by clicking on the Objective tab at the bottom of the Flow Sheet screen.
When you are ready to create a daily note right-click and select Daily Note -> New Note. IF you right-click and see that all of the options under ‘Daily Note’ are grayed out, as you see above, then double-check and make sure that the visit you are working with has been checked in on the schedule. It is possible to do everything we have done with the Flow Sheet so far without having checked the patient in, but we cannot post charges or create a daily note until the visit has been checked-in.
Your new daily note will now appear with the following areas pre-filled:
- Objective Text
- Total Time
- Direct Contact Time
This document is now ‘live’. Meaning that if you go to your Flow Sheet and make changes the changes immediately appear in your daily note.
Once your daily note is completed and signed, you can post your charges. These changes will occur until you sign and save your note.
