Fusion Enterprise understands that managing all of your cases is a critical function of any practice. We have created Fusion Enterprise to not only be easy to use, but also allow any therapist to be able to sit down and with very little instruction be able to complete an evaluation or a daily note. We have designed the actual documentation to be as customizable as possible. This series of introductory articles will cover the essential aspects of the Flow Sheet in Fusion Enterprise.
Limiting Detail
As a tie-in to the last section we will discuss limiting detail. When designing the Flow Sheet we talked to a lot of different therapists with a lot of different opinions on the amount of detail that should be required or needed on a flow sheet. We did our best to accommodate all of the different needs that were presented. One overwhelming opinion was the desire to not have to record the direct contact time on every single function.
With our flow sheets, you do not have to specify the contact time for each function, but you do have to specify the contact time for each charge code. In the function list, under the category General, you will find a set of functions named after the charge code they represent. Below you will see an example of a Flow Sheet using one of these functions:
These general functions have a blank note template so they are transparent to the daily note. However; the direct time recorded there will show up in the total contact time for Therapeutic Exercise. Notice that the DCT for the next 3 functions was left at 0. The daily note would read as follows:
THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE: 30 minutes direct contact time
- Upright Exercise Bike for 10 minutes at a resistance of 10 and seat position
- 4-Way Resisted Hip.
- AROM: Hip Flexion 3 sets of 5
- Goals Addressed 1,2,3
Note that the 10 minutes of exercise bike is not DCT but rather the actual time on the bike.
