New Feature: Inactivity Lock Screen
As a continued HIPAA compliance to protect your data, we have added a lock screen timeout when inactivity is detected. The timeout values are in minutes and can be adjusted by any user with ‘Administrator’ permissions. The maximum timeout value allowed is 60 minutes.
To adjust the Lock Screen Timeout, navigate to Administration > General Information
Users with Administrator Permissions will see under the General Section a menu item for Global Settings.
Select the Lock Screen Timeout item, right-click and select Edit to adjust the time.
Once you have entered your value, hit OK to save the changes.
After the time duration is set in Global Settings, if there is inactivity detected, the lock screen will appear
Users will enter their password and hit ‘Continue’ to resume or they will have the option to hit ‘Logout’ to log out.
NOTE: If the Logout option is selected, no work will be saved. It is recommended to enter the password and continue to verify any work that was being done is saved prior to logout.
